DONATION for Gaza through Convoys of Good

Our raffle has closed but you can still make a donation! Donations here will be transferred to Convoys of Good – a non-profit charitable and NZ licensed organisation. Established by three Palestinian women based in Tāmaki Makaurau, the association emerged from a team who are well known for providing emergency relief services in the reconstruction and repair of the homes of poor and needy families in the Gaza Strip.

Mariam – originally from Tulkarm, West Bank – is one of the founders of Convoys of Good and is also the the founder & director of 'Preserved Identity', a social enterprise whose ambition is to preserve the Palestinian identity by bringing Palestinian products and culture to a global platform: https://preservedidentity.com/

"My drive and motivation to stems from always having a deep-rooted connection to Palestine, being passionate about the cause and wanting to educate and bring awareness; the need to have a Palestinian voice and IDENTITY present. The frustration and disbelief at what is happening in Palestine was consuming me and it became about doing something about it; turning that frustration and passion into something that can make a difference at a humanitarian level."
